How do I submit a new idea to ideas.sdltridion.com?

Once you are logged in to ideas.sdltridion.com you can proceed to submit your ideas. You can select from different categories to submit a proposal, drilling into product categories and their components in detail. The category will help other people find your idea.

To check if your idea has already been posted by another member, use the search box on the top of the page. If a matching idea already exists, all you need to do is promote the idea or add your comments. To submit a brand new idea, click on the “Submit Idea” tab. First choose a product category, by clicking on the relevant link, so your idea will display in the correct category, then enter a title and description. You can then also add an image if that helps convey your idea.

How does the scoring work?

Every time you promote an idea the score on the idea increases in score by 10 points. This score indicates how well-liked the idea is. The more well-liked the idea, the higher its listing on the “Most Voted” pages. If two ideas have the same number of points, then the newer idea is listed higher.

Yes. To post a comment to an idea, just click on the idea title or the “comments” link under the idea, and enter your comment in the relevant text box.
